Nursing Adjunct Instructors

About the role

The Department of Nursing is seeking to fill adjunct positions for the 2026 academic year.

Responsibilities

• Teaching day and/or evening classes
• Utilizing technology
• Using various teaching methods in instruction

Requirements

• Minimum of a BSN or MSN degree
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience in a relevant area as an RN
• Current SC RN license

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience (preferred)
• Clinical teaching experience in an ADN or BSN program (preferred)
• Part-time instructors needed to provide clinical instruction/supervision for 8‑9 students on medical‑surgical acute care or specialty units
• Excellent customer service skills are essential

Schedule

• Clinical rotations available for 7 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays or Mondays and Wednesdays
• Some weekends are available
