Nursery Supervisor
Job Description
We are currently seeking to fill an existing vacancy on our team.
PRT Windsor is seeking a Nursery Supervisor to manage daily operations for our container seedling production. You'll assist the Nursery Manager in strategic planning and implementation across all phases, from seed stratification and field preparation to planting, crop management, harvest, and logistics. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the future of forests from our beautiful South Carolina location.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of pine seedling nursery/agricultural operations, equipment, irrigation, soil fertility, and pesticides.
- Strong team leadership and people management experience.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-driven and oriented, with a strong work ethic and dedication to safety and excellence.
