About the role
The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing needs of residents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment, and facilitating resident independence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct work of other RNs, LVN/LPNs, and CNA direct care team
- Assess resident needs and promote independence
- Ensure nursing staff follows resident care duties
- Monitor and respond to emergency situations
- Document and advocate for resident safety
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and physicians
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years professional managerial experience in related field
- Completion of accredited licensed nursing program (RN)
- AS or BS degree preferred
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and communication
