About the Role
This is a full-time position utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation, and Evaluation) to provide and document professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, and established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide and document professional nursing care based on the medical plan of care and critical pathways.
- Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
- Communicate findings as indicated to appropriate personnel.
- Serve as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues.
- Perform additional job-related duties as requested by Department Director, Manager, ECC Supervisor, or Lead/Charge Nurse.
Requirements
- Associate of Nursing Degree required.
- Complete initial competencies as defined (De-Escalation course, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100 & 700, NIH Stroke certification) all within 12 months of hire.
Schedule
1:00 PM – 1:00 AM, including every other weekend.
