Nurse Staff, 3 Tower Surgery, Full Time, Night Shift, to include every other weekend

Job Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• BSN degree.
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to provide and document professional nursing care to surgical patients.
• Incorporates the principles of statistical analysis, scientific theory, developmental and decision-making skills to improve patient outcomes.
• Utilizes effective communication to educate patients and families on how to comply with treatment plans to maintain good health.
• Functions as a charge/lead nurse, coordinating and delegating care to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to address work-related issues.
