Role Overview: The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for assessing patient health alterations, responding to actual and potential health issues, and implementing evidence-based nursing interventions to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams during assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Supervise and delegate care to Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, ensuring quality and safety. Coordinate multidisciplinary care efforts and contribute to a positive, professional work environment. Provide patient-centered care aligned with organizational standards and nursing excellence, emphasizing advocacy, innovation, and collaboration. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a BSN; professional nursing board certification is preferred at hire. Nurses without a BSN must obtain one within three years; those without certification must achieve certification within two years or as eligible. Must hold a current RN license in the state.
