Role Overview

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for assessing patients' health status, identifying responses to health problems, implementing nursing interventions based on theoretical knowledge, and evaluating outcomes to ensure optimal patient care. They involve patients and families in care planning and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate care to Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel.
• Cookordinate multidisciplinary care to support patient needs.
• Contribute to a positive professional environment and uphold organizational standards.
• Provide patient advocacy and promote innovative, autonomous nursing practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum BSN; professional certification preferred at hire.
• For nurses hired after specific dates, obtain a BSN within three years or certification within two years if not already certified.
• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
