What You'll Do
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, GNAs/CNAs, and support staff
- Serve as a visible, approachable clinical leader
- Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of your assigned Household, including staffing, scheduling, workflow management, productivity, and fiscal accountability
- Ensure exceptional resident care by maintaining compliance with CMS regulations, Maryland Department of Health requirements, Joint Commission standards, infection prevention practices, and National Patient Safety Goals
- Coach, mentor, and develop clinical staff through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, education, and succession planning
- Partner closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, rehabilitation therapists, social work, dietary services, activities, and families to provide holistic, individualized care
- Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on resident safety, falls prevention, infection prevention, pressure injury reduction, and regulatory readiness
- Promote employee engagement, retention, and professional growth while creating a positive work environment where staff feel supported and empowered
- Serve as a resource for residents and families, ensuring excellent communication and a positive customer experience
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ASN required; BSN preferred
- Active Maryland RN license
- BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, or Post-Acute Care
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, or equivalent leadership role
- Strong understanding of CMS regulations, quality metrics, infection prevention, and long-term care operations
- Excellent communication, team-building, organizational, and leadership skills
