Nurse - RN Manager
Essential Functions
- Captures and interprets nursing services and client responses.
- Collaborates with appropriate members of the health team to enhance services.
- Delegates nursing tasks to allied nursing personnel and provides guidance.
- Serves as supervisor for referrals and follow-up processes.
- Maintains and evaluates standards of nursing practice.
- Participates in interdepartmental and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Assists in maintaining a system of peer review for nursing personnel.
- Assists in managing a clinic inventory system.
- Prioritizes and assigns tasks to staff to ensure productivity.
- Prepares and coordinates materials for staff meetings and workshops.
- Maintains and updates patient medical records.
- Maintains nursing competence through professional development.
- Supervises personnel in the Ambulatory Care Department.
- Facilitates related services for health center patients and CHN staff.
Duties And Responsibilities
Coordinates clinic activity.
Develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing regime for all clinic patients/clients.
Collaborates with appropriate members of the health team to enhance services.
Identifies and delegates nursing tasks to allied nursing personnel.
Supervises all referrals and follow-up processes.
Implements maintenance and interpretation of standards of nursing practice.
Reviews and analyzes trends pertinent to delivery of nursing care services.
Participates in interdepartmental and interdisciplinary meetings.
Assists the Center Director in maintaining a system of peer review for nursing personnel.
Assists the Center Director in maintaining a clinic inventory system.
Prioritizes and designs assignments and responsibilities to staff.
Implements specific responsibilities as delegated by the Center Director and Director of Nursing.
Periodically submits reports to Center Director and Director of Nursing.
Shares relevant information with the Director of Nursing.
Prepares and coordinates material and information at staff meetings, workshops, or other professional meetings.
Maintains, updates, and ensures completion of patient medical records.
Maintains nursing competence through participation in continuing professional education.
Supervises personnel in the Ambulatory Care Department.
Facilitates related services for health center patients and CHN staff.
