Nurse Resident – ICU Step Down / Nights

Join a dynamic critical care team as an RN in an ICU Step Down unit. Role Overview Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a 32-bed unit serving patients transitioning from ICU or requiring higher-level care. The unit primarily manages neurological, medical, and surgical patients, including stroke cases as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care within a fast-paced environment.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN acceptable).Current RN license in the state or applicable compact license.Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.Strong communication, professionalism, and a compassionate approach.Ability to work collaboratively in a high-energy, supportive environment.
