Nurse Residency Site Coordinator
About the role
The Nurse Residency Site Coordinator plays a key leadership role in shaping the nurse residency experience at the site level. This individual partners with the Nurse Residency Program Director, facility CNO/designee, and market, division, and national leaders to drive program coordination, oversight, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Nurse Residency Supervisor to maintain and continuously improve program standards, structure, curriculum, and processes that support resident progression and retention.
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and refine the Nurse Residency Program to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.
- Facilitate residency classes in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educators.
- Establish and track measurable program outcomes, including timelines and accountability.
- Collaborate with site leadership to ensure consistent execution, clear performance expectations, and accountability.
- Develop and support faculty, preceptors, residents, and local leadership while assessing knowledge, skills, and practice gaps.
- Champion a high-quality, mission-driven program that aligns with organizational goals, promotes interprofessional collaboration, and delivers a consistent site-level experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in the acute care setting
- Current license as RN in Nebraska, Iowa, or multi-state compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS or BLS instructor) certification upon hire through the American Heart Association

Pay
The posted compensation range is $35.18 - $51.01 /hour, reflecting the reasonable estimate of what CommonSpirit Health might pay for this position based on the circumstances at the time of posting. The actual pay may vary.
Schedule
The Nurse Residency Site Coordinator works a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, supporting a healthy and sustainable work-life balance.
