Site Clinical Coordinator Nurse Residency Program

Job Summary

You will serve as a pivotal leader in shaping the transition-to-practice experience by maintaining program standardization, securing accreditation, and driving clinical excellence. You will collaborate with national and facility leadership to ensure the residency program remains a strategic asset for nurse retention and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site-level implementation of the residency curriculum
• Foster a supportive environment for residents and preceptors
• Maintain program standards, structure, curriculum, policy, and processes
• Monitor resident progress and facilitate classes
• Bridge identified knowledge or practice gaps with clinical educators
• Ensure ongoing assessments of resident and preceptor knowledge, skills, and practice gaps
• Facilitate Nurse Residency Program classes
• Implement standards for measurable, realistic program outcomes with timelines and accountabilities
• Develop and support site faculty, subject matter experts, residents, and local leadership

Job Requirements

• Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in the acute care setting
• Active, unencumbered Colorado Registered Nurse licensure
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
