Key Responsibilities
- Aid the Nurse Manager with oversight of all clinical operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of facility policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in multiple facility committees to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise nursing staff, approve leave requests, time sheets, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback to clinical staff.
- Assess opportunities to improve clinical services and monitor data within the electronic documentation system.
- Supervise the implementation of nursing rehabilitation and restorative programs.
- Perform daily rounds and report resident care status to the Nurse Manager.
- Conduct staff meetings and communicate effectively with nursing personnel.
- Interact with providers and professionals outside the facility, maintaining strong customer service skills and professionalism.
- Lead and provide clinical departmental leadership in the absence of the Nurse Manager.

Minimum Requirements
- Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing can substitute for one year of the required experience.
- No substitute experience or education is required.
- Maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s) or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
