Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health - Atlantic Medical Group Women's Health Hackettstown/Newton

About the role

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily be based at the Hackettstown location with occasional coverage at their Newton location. The role provides preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, and low-risk obstetric care, including wellness examinations, early pregnancy management, prenatal care for low-risk obstetric patients, patient education, contraceptive counseling, and management of common women’s health conditions. The role may also include office-based procedures such as IUD insertion and removal and endometrial biopsies, based on the candidate’s training, competency, and organizational privileging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, and low-risk obstetric care, including wellness examinations, early pregnancy management, prenatal care for low-risk obstetric patients, patient education, contraceptive counseling, and management of common women’s health conditions.
• May perform office-based procedures such as IUD insertion and removal and endometrial biopsies, based on the candidate’s training, competency, and organizational privileging requirements.
• Build meaningful patient relationships through excellent communication and clinical skills.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Women’s Health experience.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently.

Qualifications

• Women’s Health or OB/GYN experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
