About the role
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Internal Medicine Transplant Nephrology.
Responsibilities
- Providing advanced clinical care to kidney transplant and complex nephrology patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up.
- Managing both inpatient and outpatient care settings.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Participating in patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement in care.
- Supporting research, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching activities within an academic environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant advanced practice licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in nephrology or transplant medicine preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team coordination.
