Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - PRN Nights

About the role

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant position at Northside Trauma Surgical Specialist Gwinnett is available on a PRN (Per Request) basis for nights. This role requires call and weekend responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and manage patient medication regimens.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient encounters and treatments in the electronic health record.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Georgia.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to make independent decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.
• Active certification from relevant national organization.
• Experience with electronic health records.
