Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife Float opportunity
About the role
We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife at our Euclid Avenue Health Center. This role is full-time and fully benefitted at 32 hours/week with a schedule of 4 days with 8-hour shifts. Based on a 2-week rotation: Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Please note: there is one shift every other week that will be scheduled at our Chula Vista Health Center.
What you'll do
- Provide high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling in reproductive healthcare
- Serve as a go-to medical resource, supporting and empowering both licensed and non-licensed team members
- Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements
- Partner with a Case Management team to communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care
- Perform IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affirming Hormone therapy)
- Work in a supportive and professional nursing environment with evidence-based protocols and guidelines
- Pursue continuing education opportunities to help you grow as a provider
Qualifications
- Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife

- Willing to jump in to help with coverage if need be

Pay & benefits
Hiring rate: $62.51 – $79.46/hour.
