Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Float

This position offers a 4-day work week and includes a float stipend, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and monthly and quarterly bonuses.

As an advanced practice clinician float, you are a vital part of a dedicated team of clinicians committed to exceptional patient care. Your patients, as well as your medical and support team, will look to you for your excellent problem-solving and leadership skills. This role provides direct patient care in a clinic-based setting, fostering collaboration with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes. You will help create a professional, safe, and high-quality care environment while maintaining compliance with state practice acts and workers' compensation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a clinic-based setting, ensuring an exceptional and reassuring experience.
• Collaborate with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case management.
• Adhere to clinical analytics relative to quality and compliance.
• Create a professional and collaborative working environment with center staff.
• Ensure compliance with individual state practice acts, rules, regulations, and workers' compensation requirements.
• Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain relationships with center clients and payers.
• Promote, cultivate, and exemplify the organization’s values for all clinic interactions.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program) or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) or AANP/ANCC board certified.
• Current license as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in the state where employed, in accordance with state laws of practice.
• Must maintain work-state licensure throughout the course of employment.
• At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state-specific).
• Working knowledge of clinical operations, laws, and regulations governing rehabilitation services and workers' compensation.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to participate in continuing medical education (CME).

Schedule

• 4-day work week.
• Many clinics offer working hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• No nights, no weekends, no holidays, no call.
