Nurse Practitioner Fellow - Hospital Medicine

Position Summary

This is a paid, year-long fellowship that will provide the opportunity for an individual to continue their education in a practical setting.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience a wide variety of clinical settings including outpatient, inpatient and peri-operative practice within the BJC Healthcare system.
• Participate in weekly continuing education sessions.
• Have the opportunity to share in a research project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Job Location/Working Conditions: Normal office environment, Patient care setting.
• Physical Effort: Typically sitting at desk or table, typically standing or walking, repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement.
• Equipment: Office equipment, Clinical/diagnostic equipment.

Education

• Required Qualifications: M.S.N. - Master Of Science In Nursing, Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, and able to obtain NP or PA license within 3 months of starting the fellowship.
