About the Role

The Nurse Practitioner in Developmental Medicine provides direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate and manage children from birth to adolescence with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and Elimination Disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct neurodevelopmental evaluations and follow-ups
  • Assess patients' medical, behavioral, and psychological needs
  • Prescribe and monitor behavioral health medications
  • Offer psycho-education and behavioral recommendations

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (Doctorate preferred)
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience; 3+ years pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience in developmental-behavioral pediatrics preferred
  • Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric or Family NP certification required)
