Responsibilities
- Providing care for cardiology, cardiac surgery, heart failure, transplant, and cardiovascular patients.
- Working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and support staff.
- Managing a patient volume of approximately 16 outpatient and 5-10 inpatient cases daily, including rounding with CCU and ICU teams.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- NP Board Certification and current Arizona Medical License.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Prescribing privileges, including DEA license for controlled substances.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Attention to detail and dedication to high-quality patient care.
- Experience or training in cardiology or cardiac surgery is preferred; new graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply.
Work Environment
Monday through Friday, with day shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.
