About the role
The Nurse Navigator Acute Care position at Pulse Heart Institute is a multi-faceted role that combines the responsibilities of a registered nurse, case manager, and patient/physician liaison. This position is crucial for managing the clinical, quality, and cost-effective outcomes for a caseload of patients, and for collecting, trending, and analyzing aggregate outcomes data to identify best practices and target performance improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage cardiovascular hospitalized patients
- Understand and apply triage principles
- Identify and implement improvement processes
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Work closely with nursing staff and management
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or equivalent experience within five years from the initial date of hire
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS Certification (if direct patient contact)
- Certification in assigned area preferred
- Three (3) recent clinical experiences in the area of specialty

Pay and Benefits

The pay scale is $109,006.56 - $177,821.28 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications.
