Key Responsibilities
- Learns and implements best practice models and patient care delivery systems across multiple locations.
- Delegates tasks for investigating and resolving patient concerns while facilitating collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Maintains expertise, provides clinical supervision, and performs clinical duties as required.
- Translates business plans into tactical actions, oversees work assignments, and ensures policy compliance.
- Manages hospital administrative functions including financial commitments, HR activities, training, quality/risk management, and budget control.
- Develops strategic partnerships, leads multidisciplinary teams, and oversees emergency preparedness programs.
- Leads long-term projects for operational improvements, root cause analysis, and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.
- Drives continuous improvement in quality, safety, and compliance with legal/regulatory standards such as Nursing Practice Act and TJC.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and information systems.
- Skilled in business process improvement and data gathering/analysis.
- Experienced in maintaining files/records, workforce planning, and compliance management.
Functional Skills
- Expertise in patient safety, nursing principles, emergency preparedness, and evidence-based medicine.
- Strong in change management, healthcare quality standards, healthcare compliance, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of ICU or PACU operations.
Behavioral Skills

- Solicits performance feedback, coaches for improvement, and motivates teams to meet objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in patient care delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and minimum five years in business operations, clinical healthcare, or related field.
- Minimum four years in a leadership role.
- Registered Nurse License (Oregon) and Basic Life Support required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Certification from American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in related practice area.
