Nurse Manager - Rehab HHIRU

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Leader to coordinate patient-centered care on our 26-private bed Inpatient Rehab Unit. The Inpatient Rehab team will structure care to ensure a personalized care plan to meet each patient’s needs and goals. We will receive patients from within our hospital, as well as referrals from other hospitals, with a focus on stroke, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, other neurological conditions, complex orthopedics, heart, liver and kidney transplants, cardiac disease including patients with ventricular assist device (VAD), post-surgery and patients requiring dialysis.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license required.
• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. One degree must be in Nursing.
• Certification in nursing administration is required within 5 years of assuming position.
• Minimum 3 years relevant clinical experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Demonstrated progressive leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
