About the role
Manages daily operations of a nursing unit, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develops departmental goals, standards, and objectives supporting organizational vision.
- Oversees staff relations, including performance management, scheduling, recruitment, and conflict resolution.
- Monitors budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
- Assesses and coordinates patient care services in collaboration with staff, physicians, and departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- State RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
