• Participates in and fosters staff involvement in nursing research and evidence-based practice efforts.
• Ensures staff compliance with maintaining licenses, certifications, and mandated learnings and content.

Requirements

• A Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
• A Master's degree in nursing required.
• At least three years of pertinent clinical practice.
• Certification in nursing leadership required upon eligibility.
• Ability to apply nursing process toward achievement of specific outcomes in an organized fashion to address patient/family satisfaction and quality indicators.
• Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organization, critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State, Master's degree in nursing, at least three years of pertinent clinical practice, and certification in nursing leadership.
• Preferred qualifications: 1-2 years leadership or supervisory experience, ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Pay

The salary range for the role is $176,557.50 - $183,560.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
