Status: Fulltime
Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
On Call: Yes
Always in person

Summary

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years RN experience
• At least 1 year Operating Room experience as an RN preferred for consideration

Preferred Nurse Specialty

• Education: Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma
• Preferred: Bachelor's Nursing
