About the role
Seeking a strategic and motivated Registered Nurse with perioperative experience to lead as Nurse Manager of the Operating Room.
Responsibilities
- Manage a 24/7 Surgical Services department with 16 operating suites, overseeing RNs, LPNs, Technologists, and PCAs.
- Drive operational excellence, support surgical teams, and promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Provide leadership in staffing, budgeting, performance improvement, and policy development.
- Foster staff development, conduct evaluations, and serve as a clinical mentor.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a patient-centered care environment.
Qualifications
- RN licensure in NY
- BSN
- 3+ years OR experience
- 1+ year leadership experience
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hold certifications in relevant clinical areas and leadership within 2 years
