About the Role

The RN Manager Clinical Operations is responsible to the Director Clinical Operations or Division VP Nursing Operations for the organization and direction of planning and implementing a centralized nursing scheduling and nursing resource pool system-wide. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing between facilities to ensure equitable distribution of available staff. This role works cooperatively with administrators, physicians, staff, other managers, and all customers of the Methodist Healthcare System to provide services that consistently meet and exceed expectations. Key activities involve assessing and prioritizing opportunities for improvement, planning and implementing effective changes, and evaluating outcomes of process improvement activities. The RN Manager Clinical Operations displays behavior consistent with Methodist Excellence and actively supports the Mission and Vision of the MHS while effectively maintaining the hospital’s Standards of Care and Practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Three years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
  • Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility, and department/unit, specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Requirements

  • Current TX RN license in good standing.
