About the role
Develops and maintains systems to ensure high patient, employee, and physician satisfaction in the Labor & Delivery and Antepartum services.
Responsibilities
- Assumes 24-hour accountability for operations, staffing, and productivity standards
- Demonstrates advanced patient care skills and coordinates interdisciplinary communication
- Participates in hospital committees
- Develops care processes
- Supervises staff including RNs, technicians, and secretaries, and provides coaching
- Monitors employee attendance
- Develops strategic plans for OB services focusing on quality, safety, and satisfaction
- Supports compliance with Joint Commission Standards and hospital policies
Qualifications & Skills
- RN license
- Associate Degree
- Certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonate Resuscitation (obtained within 30 days of start)
- Demonstrates leadership, clinical expertise, and knowledge of regulatory standards
