Nurse Manager - Labor and Delivery

About the Role

Develops and maintains systems to ensure high patient, employee, and physician satisfaction while overseeing 24-hour operations of Labor & Delivery and Antepartum services.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate staffing and maintains productivity standards.
• Demonstrates advanced clinical skills in patient care.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary communication and participates in hospital committees.
• Supervises staff and develops patient care processes per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act.
• Implements quality, safety, and satisfaction initiatives.
• Supports compliance with Joint Commission Standards.
• Fosters a positive work environment through coaching and performance management.

Requirements

• RN licensure with an associate degree.
• Certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 30 days of employment.
