About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with leadership experience to serve as a Nurse Manager. In this role, you will oversee clinical and operational management during hours of operation, ensuring quality, safe, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate systems to support clinical and operational management
- Manage staff schedules and oversee budgets
- Implement performance improvement initiatives
- Hire, supervise, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations
- Foster staff development and lead monthly meetings
- Coordinate quality and safety initiatives
- Address patient satisfaction and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Current NY RN license
- Minimum three years of clinical experience
- Prior management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of performance improvement and regulatory requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Nursing leadership certification preferred
