The Clinical Nurse Manager
The Clinical Nurse Manager, under the supervision of the Department Director, guides the nursing care of patients. Serves as a resource person for fellow employees. Encourages and supports departmental staff in team development and function. With department directors, assumes responsibility for the long term planning for the unit in collaboration with nursing schools, medical staff and administrative staff.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree; Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of RN Supervisor or Coordinator experience in Surgical Services required; Nurse Manager experience preferred
- Credentials: Certification in specialty area preferred or completion within one year of eligibility strongly encouraged.
- Licensure: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
