About the role

The Clinical Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations of assigned areas, including staffing, HR functions, financial performance, quality and safety, patient/staff/physician satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory agencies. This role involves policy and procedure development, maintaining clinical competency, and serving as a clinical resource. The Clinical Nurse Manager acts as a liaison between staff and medical personnel and advocates for patients and family members to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, including staffing and HR functions.
  • Oversee financial performance and ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Enhance patient, staff, and physician satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and develop policies and procedures.
  • Maintain clinical competency and act as a clinical resource.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and medical personnel.
  • Advocate for patients and family members to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years progressive clinical leadership experience.
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required prior to the end of the orientation period.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN preferred.
