Location: Reading, PA | Full Time | 1.00 FTE | Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations of assigned areas, including staffing, HR functions, financial performance, quality and safety, patient/staff/physician satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory agencies. This role involves policy and procedure development, maintaining clinical competency, and serving as a clinical resource. The Clinical Nurse Manager acts as a liaison between staff and medical personnel and advocates for patients and families to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, including staffing and HR functions.
  • Oversee financial performance, quality, and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure patient, staff, and physician satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Maintain clinical competency and serve as a clinical resource.
  • Act as a liaison between staff and medical personnel.
  • Advocate for patients and families to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required).
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressive clinical leadership experience.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification (required).
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required prior to the end of the orientation period).

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN preferred.
