Nurse Manager, Ambulatory Clinical Operations
About the role
Manage clinical operations and support staff for assigned specialties and sites of care, ensuring continuous performance improvement, customer service, financial, and delivery requirements align with Seattle Children's mission, vision, and values. Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective care for patients and families. Partner with Specialty Division Chiefs, Directors, Business Operations Manager, and applicable leadership to support effective clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategic initiatives, model of care, clinic flow, and optimization for assigned areas.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for assigned areas.
- Direct reports may include registered nurses, certified nurse assistants, medical assistants, patient support coordinators, nurse technicians, and other staff as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Nursing with a Bachelor’s degree in another field.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Current Washington State RN license.
- A national nursing certification must be obtained within three years of employment.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Qualifications
- Preferred Master’s Degree in Nursing or business related field.
- Recent clinical experience in a pediatric ambulatory setting.
- Recent experience in an ambulatory management and/or leadership role.
Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and healthcare regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Pay
$129,992.00 - $194,988.00 per year
Schedule
Full-time position (2080 hours per calendar year)
