About the role
As an LPN/RN, you are essential to quality resident care in a small community with a family vibe and a 5-Star Medicare rating.
- Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
- Train staff and report to the director of nursing
- Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
- Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
- Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
- Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing
- Typically 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare (new grads are encouraged to apply)
