About the role
The System Float Nurse Manager provides clinical and operational leadership across assigned units within the health system. They are responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care, fostering a culture of patient safety, quality, and service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coaching and developing nursing teams
- Promoting collaboration among staff and interdisciplinary partners
- Managing staffing, resources, and budgets
- Using data, technology, and performance improvement practices to drive clinical and operational results
- Supporting shared governance, evidence-based practice, and professional development
- Leading change initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing management experience
- Active RN license in Georgia with BLS certification
