About the Role

The Nurse Extern supports nursing teams by providing compassionate, basic patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility, and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Assist patients and families in understanding care plans
• Ensure a clean and safe environment
• Collaborate with team members to improve patient outcomes
• Engage in learning opportunities
• Partner with supervisors to develop personal growth plans

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
