The Nurse Extern is an integral part of the nursing team, gaining hands-on experience in patient care within a clinical setting. This position supports registered nurses by assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility, and hygiene, while performing basic nursing procedures such as wound and catheter care, specimen collection, and documentation. The role emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and education, fostering growth and confidence in nursing skills.
