Responsibilities
- Affirms learning needs based on regulatory requirements, evidence-based practice, and staff-identified needs.
- Supports the development of nursing leadership skills in self and clinical nursing staff according to ANA Standards of Practice.
- Represents nursing in the development of interprofessional learning activities.
- Develops, educates, and implements quality improvement initiatives and outcomes across the organization.
- Develops initial and ongoing competencies in collaboration with nursing education teams.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher required, one degree must be in nursing (BS or MS).
- Candidates must be enrolled in a Master's program and complete the degree by June 1, 2027.
- 3-5 years of active nursing experience, one year of relevant teaching experience preferred, nursing staff development and/or specialty area preferred.
- Licensure as a RN in the state of CT/RI and Nursing Board Certification within two years of hire.
- Demonstrates ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate educational programs.
