About the Role

Functions independently to collaborate, assess, identify and meet the educational needs of Hospital staff to maintain and improve competence in their defined roles and provide opportunities for staff fulfillment of regulatory agency requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the design and implementation of effective educational programs through application of adult learning principles and utilizing multiple teaching approaches including blended learning, to meet multiple staff learning styles.
Creates or revises pertinent educational programs, coordinates implementation of course content, monitors participant progress and evaluates overall effectiveness of programs.
Participates in and contributes to interdisciplinary performance improvement activities.
Integrates evidence-based practice and nursing theory into education interventions.

Qualifications

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
Current RN licensure in Florida
BLS through the American Heart Association
ACLS through the American Heart Association
