Nurse Educator - Full-time

The Nurse Educator is a highly experienced registered nurse responsible for assessing educational needs, planning, delivering, and evaluating orientation and continuing education for nursing staff, students, and the community. They serve as a resource, mentoring staff, monitoring clinical competencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to promote safe, high-quality patient care. Key duties include developing educational programs, assessing staff practice, conducting classes, creating individualized development plans, and tracking competency progression. They participate in committees to improve nursing practice, support policy development, and may provide direct patient care and bedside leadership. Required qualifications include a nursing degree, NY RN licensure, and minimum two years of relevant experience. Preferred credentials are BSN or MSN, specialty certification, and instructor certifications.
