About the Role

A Nurse Educator within a clinical support department, responsible for providing educational leadership and support to nursing and patient care staff in a mission-driven organization dedicated to community impact, growth, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training on equipment, supplies, and procedures.
• Create curricula and protocols aligned with regulations and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor compliance and clinical documentation.
• Lead skills development programs for nursing and patient care staff.
• Collaborate with medical providers and staff to enhance educational initiatives.
• Analyze processes for improvements in training and clinical practices.
• Support patient and caregiver education programs.
• Promote safety and environmental best practices.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license in Missouri.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Knowledge of psychiatry, mental health, and substance use disorder protocols.
• Ability to ensure compliance and maintain quality standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet certification requirements within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: L1MA, CPR/BLS, First Aid, SCM.
