About the role
A Nurse Educator develops, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs within clinical practice areas, facilitating continuing education, orientation, and professional development for nurses and healthcare staff.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate continuing education, orientation, and professional development for nurses and healthcare staff.
- Act as an educator, consultant, and change agent.
- Support interprofessional learning.
- Coordinate training initiatives.
Qualifications
- BSN required or actively pursuing within specified timelines.
- 3-5 years of RN experience with strong clinical knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Active Minnesota RN license and BLS certification.
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of adult education principles.
- Project, change, and time management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies preferred.
