Nurse Educator

About the role

Provide inpatient nursing care across Maternal-Child Health (MCH) units including Labor & Delivery (L&D), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Mother-Baby Unit (MBU), and Pediatrics, with a focus on labor and delivery. Ensure comprehensive support for education related to labor, delivery, NICU, and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care in Med/Surg and specialized MCH settings
• Cover all inpatient MCH units as required
• Support educational initiatives for labor, delivery, NICU, and postpartum

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and Labor & Delivery experience
• Strong clinical background in obstetric and neonatal care
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited program
• Valid New York State RN license and BLS certification
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Education

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in L&D with at least 2 years of experience
• Ability to provide coverage for all inpatient MCH units
• Strong clinical skills and educational support capability
