Functions in a leadership role as a unit-based clinical resource and educator.

Responsibilities

• Staff development, orientation and onboarding
• Competency
• Patient education
• Quality improvement
• Supports established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education
• Serves as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice

Requirements

• Required Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Preferred Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units

• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
