Nurse Apprentice - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a registered nurse preceptor.
• Communicate patient status, diagnostic results, and symptoms to the RN preceptor.
• Perform bedside reports using IMAP & SBAR collaboratively with patients.
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments across diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Assist in formulating and revising individualized care plans based on patient response, under RN supervision.
• Support patient assessments, care planning, and effective communication to ensure quality healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing program with fundamentals coursework completed.
• Nevada CNA license required.
• Current BLS certification.
