About the role
Join a caring community as a full-time Nurse Aide in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- providing direct resident care
- assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- following individualized care plans
- performing clerical tasks
- communicating with the healthcare team
- ensuring resident safety
- assisting with grooming, bathing, feeding, incontinent care, and mobility
- observing and reporting changes in resident conditions
- proper documentation
- effective communication with residents, families, and staff
- maintaining a clean, safe environment
- using proper body mechanics for resident transfers
Qualifications
- at least 18 years old
- possessing a valid Driver’s License
- ideally a high school diploma or GED
- Healthcare experience (preferred)
- certification as a Nurse Aide in Nebraska (preferred)
- BLS certification (preferred)
