Full Time - Long-Term Care Nurse

About the role

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing over 100 years of housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. As a Trained Medication Aide (TMA), you will deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility tasks
• Take and record vital signs and provide psycho-social support
• Administer prescribed medications within your scope of practice
• Document care outcomes and communicate changes to nursing staff
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs
• Support residents’ overall well-being

Requirements

• CNA license and MN TMA license
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred
• Must complete yearly competency testing and maintain certifications
• Must meet continuing education requirements
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward elderly care
• Must be 18 or older
